| Of all the events 'Aspen in October' has to offer ... I believe the sing-a-long at the Assisted Living Center is one of MY favorites! |
| Every year, Mel Trondson makes it happen! We meet in the park in the morning to reherse ... and then at noon the "World Family of John Denver Singers" head over to the assisted living center where we sing for the folks while they are eating lunch. |
| Mel makes us all songbooks ... and there's always enough to share with the residents! |
| It's such a blessing to watch the folks enjoying themselves ... smiling, clapping and singing every word with us ... even the ones who didn't have a songbook. |
| This year they were introduced to "Puppet John" ... He received a very warm welcome ... and brought out a LOT of SMILES! |
