| Aspen in October ~ 2006 |
| Our Colorado adventures began on October 7th, 2006 ... Mark, Patti & I met at the Denver Airport around noon. After gathering our luggage and our rental car ... we headed for Estes Park, Colorado where we spent the rest of the day in the Rocky Mountain National Park! |

| The next day we drove accross Trail Ridge Road ... The highest elevation is over 12,000 feet ... above the timber line ... The weather was quite a challenge ... ice, snow & lots of wind! |
| Trail Ridge Road was closed due to the weather shortly after we crossed over the summit! Once we made it over to the other side .. the clouds began to break up and we had some "Sunshine on our Shoulders" ... For lunch, we enjoyed our Subway Sandwiches on the bank of the Colorado River! |

| Our second night was spent in Grand Lake ... Ah yes, it really is a GRAND place! |
| We then headed to Georgetown, Colorado where John filmed "The Christmas Gift" We ate at the Red Ram and visited the post office & shops ... we really enjoyed the candy shop! |

| Getting to Aspen is half the FUN! ... The night before arriving in Aspen we stayed in Glenwood Springs ... where we enjoyed the natural HOT pools ... Aaaaahhhhh, just what we needed after such a long trip! |
